Boys like sweaty half dressed girls, plus they get an action movie. With the new movies (Wonder Woman and Captain Marvel, et al) You get all that, plus basic subliminals (Obey! Consume! Status Quo! Uniformed Leaders Uber Al!). And you impress upon the young folk a cultish foundation that Big Biz and Big Gov are a Good Thing. And it's OK to be a violent vigilante as long as you're doing what you're told.
