Some 10-15 years ago I was in Santa Barbara, CA and visited the gallery of a photographer on State Street. The photos this man took were among the best I've ever seen, mostly wild life. Un fortunately, I cannot recall the name of the photographer and the gallery is no longer there. Does anyone remember either the name of the galley or the photograher?

Thomas D. Mangelsen is headquartered in Jackson, WY. Over the years he has had various "main street" galleries. I don't recall if there was one in Santa Barbara, but it is likely.
Yes, his wildlife photos are among the best. Over the years we've purchased a half dozen and they dominate our living room. The bears, the moose, the wolf and the owl greet me every morning when I turn on the lights!

If Santa Barbara has City Directories, you could visit or contact the library and check out location index. In your case, you would check the names on State street. There is a possibility that this information could be on line as well. Good luck.
