This morning I grabbed my camera and drove a few hours to Raymond to try to capture a few elements of the remains of the logging industry. Though there is still a mill in operation, the hay-day of logging is long gone and never to return. Where there was once log rafts and buildings supported by pilings, only the pilings, such as they are, remain. There could be more pics to come. We'll see what I can squeeze out of the raw pics. Very compelling. It almost looks primordial. B&W was a good choice.

Wish I'd been on the trip with you. Raymond, SB areas some of my faves.

Nice shots. Like the way the perspective in the first leads me to nowhere. Like the industry.

Been through there many times. Very sad to see all that industry gone and the community left behind to fend for themselves.
