Ron.
I am so glad you think so, Ron. Thank you for letting me know. I know its not everyone's taste but no one is going to please everyone, ever. But I decided I liked how it turned out and am so glad you enjoyed it.

Artsy, very artsy. Nice work.
Thank you for your encouragement, tcthome. I do lean that way and find artsy more compelling for me altho' I appreciate all genres of photography and art.
A warm, compelling image, Carlysue. A lovely young lady thinking about the young gentleman who sent the flowers. Brings back the joy and innocence of a first love.
I’m glad to see you back again. Your presence always brightens up the forum.

Interesting.
I appreciate you saying that, Jaymatt. I find "interesting" a very helpful and gratifying. I would hate it if I was ordinary, boring, and ho-hum. Thank you for looking in and leaving your thought.

Creative and well done.
Thank you, Jerry. I am so pleased you think so. One never knows how other photographers will perceive his work, especially if they are looking for all of those rules of composition. There are so many areas of photography to enjoy, so glad we don't all have to fall in the same genre, yet can appreciate what others' do.

I like your thoughts here, MT! There's so many things I don't do well in this hobby and so much to learn. No time to get stagnant. Being creative with stuff I've already got in my files is what I can do right now. Someday I'll be able to learn to take wonderful landscapes, seascapes, architecture, street scenes, urban culture, birds in flight, ...the list is endless!
Agree that the texture adds to the image. Nicely done ✅

Thank you so much, John Lawrence! You are always my best champion!
She is beautiful and contemplative, isn't she. She was actually a manicurist/pedicurist and I was watching her work. I loved the way her eye lashes fell against her cheeks. She has such beautiful bone structure. I asked if she minded that I take her photograph and she was very kind and agreeable. I did give her prints of my shots done at that time. I have lost contact with her but I think she would like this one too.
I know I've been scarce, John. I'm going to try to do better. I have noticed several of my "buddies" are no longer posting.
