Great job. I was there on a very uninspiring day...just a plain blue sky. Your presentation with the light vignette is very eye catching. Congrats. Bev
well taken picture of Peggy's Cove. If your ever in N.S. again try Yarmouth light shooting from the ocean side towards the light from atop the rocks and capturing False Harbour on the left. Also theres one off of Cape Sable Island that can be seen from the Hawk that is the talest in N.S. at 101 feet. If you can get a local to ferry you to it ,It's really amazing. Also if you take off roads you will find all kinds all along the south shore that have just as much appeal (if not more, and less traffic) as the overrated Peggy's Cove one.
This is an admirable photo. It seems to me, though, that the story of a lighthouse pic is the relationship between the light and the sea. If that is true then this photo may have too much land. You might think about cropping off about 1/3 of the distance in from the left edge of the frame toward the light. I also concur with Longshadow that the "anti-vignette" does not help the photo. If my uncharacteristic remarks seem out of place on this forum or if you don't agree with them, just write off this comment as the musings of a misguided crank.
