My attempt at water drops

I've been at this for the last few weeks trying many different methods- clear water, colored water, milk, plates, bowls, etc. This is my latest- on my back patio dropping yellow colored water onto a plate of blue colored water with my grill cover as a background. I'm getting better but more practice is needed.

Nice timing. Creative set you have designed! Terrific image. Keep shooting!

Note: I think the image would be stronger if you cleaned up the noise/stray dots in the black area in post. Really nice!

This is really cool! Some of us struggle with certain creative outlets for our photographic growth. I like what you're doing!

Thanks for lookin', everyone. When I initially darkened the background, the reflective drops also darkened, which I didn't like. So I masked them to keep them bright. To each his own.

The healing tool works well to take out such things, very quick and easy. But good shot nonetheless and either way it works. Not sure I have the patience for water drops but I have always wanted to try.
