What to you all think of the Nikon Coolpix S8200? BJ's has it on sale right now for $100 off! I'd like more zoom, but all the other features sound so good! Thanks for any input.

I hope you don't find this an odd reply:
I like the Nikon Coolpix series, and still have an 8700 from before switching to a DSLR. I tried several of the smaller, pocket size Coolpix cameras, but found it was so easy to jar the camera while pushing the button to take a picture. I was very pleased to find the 8700 because it gave me more to hold onto, and a little more weight to help stabilize it while pushing the go-button.
Now I'll get out of the way and let others reply.

Thank you so much for your opinion Danilo! I will keep it in my mind as I shop around.

Danilo, that's not an odd reply. I still have an ancient 5700 that I drag out occasionally, but keep primarily as a loaner for friends. It's not a new super megapixel wonder, but it gets the job done. "No, neighbor, I will NOT loan you my 50D!"

Three things I will not loan; my tools, my cameras and computer, and my woman in that order :P :-P

The only camera I loan is the one I can afford to lose, the 5700. I never loan out any of my computers. I'll stop there!
