This is the second and final post of this series and includes both Carmel and Pacific Grove; part 1 was posted yesterday, 1/27/19. These photos are from a weekend in Pacific Grove two weeks ago, one of our favorite places. I posted some photos from the same weekend of surfers at Lovers Point in Pacific Grove on 1/23 in the Photo Gallery section. I hope you enjoy these.
The first two photos were taken from the "overlook" at Carmel Beach, looking at the Pebble Beach Golf Course. The next is of the Point Pinos Lighthouse, the oldest continuously operating lighthouse on the West Coast; it was lit in 1855. Photo number 4 is at Asilomar State Beach in Pacific Grove, looking south toward Pebble Beach. The next photo was taken from the same spot as number 4, but looking west. The final two were taken two minutes apart of Lovers Point in Pacific Grove, about one mile from the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

I like Pt Pinos Light and the ocean spray on rocks most.

Thank you for the comments. That is an iconic lighthouse, and different than the "typical" lighthouse. Getting the ocean spray takes some good wave action, patience and then a quick finger on the shutter.
Thanks for the thumbs up!
Great set Dennis. I have several similar ones. The beauty of the area is timeless.
Thank you Mark. No matter how many times we have been there, we always enjoy going back.
