Carmel and Pacific Grove Seascapes Part 1 of 2

These photos are from a weekend in Pacific Grove two weeks ago, one of our favorite places. The weather wasn’t stormy like our trip four weeks prior, but the waves were good. I posted some photos from the same weekend of surfers at Lovers Point in Pacific Grove on 1/23 in the Photo Gallery section. Part one is from Pacific Grove, Part 2 will include both Carmel and Pacific Grove. The last photo is one of my favorites.

I love the colors and contrasts - my only suggestion might be to clone in, at a very low opacity, some of the surf in #4 and some of the clouds in a couple of other images to address the blown-out areas. By cloning in some darker areas, you eliminate the need to use a lot of dodge and burn or exposure adjustments to get detail in the clouds. I will PM you with an image that shows what I mean. Keep shooting, mate!
