Canon 400 mm 2.8 L II. NON IS
This is an older Canon 400 mm 2.8 II NON IS. It is in good condition and takes awesome pictures. It comes with case and lens hood and cover. I am asking $2200.00 shipping not included. Thank you for looking.

A perfect lens for outdoor sports, especially at night, as you’ve just demonstrated.

Good then it won’t sell and I can keep it Mr. Skeeth. If it sells good if it doesn’t I will keep it. I thank you for your input. God Bless You

You show your ignorance, that's one heck of a good price. That is a sought after lens even if it is not an IS model. Maybe you aren't familiar with that lens. If I already didn't have a 300mm f/2.8 and longer lenses I'd buy it. I don't know what your basing your remark on.

Beautiful lens and a good price! I rented one about a year ago but can't afford to buy it (and already have far too many lenses).
Good luck!

👍👍 Indeed. He’s a new member with clearly no knowledge of photography, no original posts, and 78 responses with gems like “B&W sux” - all 1-2 word insults and negatives. Just a bad mannered troll who I hope will leave us as soon as possible.
The lens is a fine lens and very well priced. If I hadn’t just spent $ for a new body, I’d be all over it - I hope it goes to a good home.

Would you consider a trade?
I do not know. I have a lot of lenses and bodies.

So do I, is there a particular area of photography that maybe you would like a better lens for? Maybe a Sigma Art 105 "Bokeh Master" with a 20mm f/1.4 thrown in on the side? Possibly a lens + $? Macro lenses Sigma 150 OS or the Canon 100mm 2.8L IS... Maybe you will miss that long lens, Canon 400 f/5.6 or a 300 f/4L IS.... There are a lot of possibilities and combinations. Or maybe you might consider a lens and a Mirrorless Fuji X-T2...
No Sir I don’t think so. Thank you anyway
This is still for sale... offers????

Let me do some research... Already have a 500/4 but maybe it is time for a change.

K E H has version I of your lens and are asking $2292.00 with cap, hood, and case. It is rated as "bargain". Critics say it is a very good lens. A new version was released 3 years later with Image Stabilization. Canon had released all 4 of their super whites in non-IS versions. In 1999 they added IS to the 300, 400, 500, and 600 mm lenses. My 500mm f/4.5 has no IS but it lives on a tripod so I miss nothing but weight.
