This was harder than I thought. I shot the half going into the eclipse metering on the light part of the moon and from totality on I metered on the dark (eclipsed) part. It was very difficult to focus so this is the best I got. BTW, I did not alter the color at all, only cropped and raised the exposure and detail a bit.
As I recall the exposure for the moon is just like that for a sunny beach. Am I wrong?

Your close for a normal full moon, but I had exposures up to 5 seconds during the eclipse.
