First time with a moon shot and first time playing with StarstaX--a free download.
Shot at 1 minute interval for 10 shots with a Nikon D750, F5.6, 1/1.6 sec, ISO 800 using a AF-S 55-300 DX lens without post-processing except for cropping. Needed a longer interval to space out the moon. There were clouds blowing through at a fast clip and some of the interval shots were blacked out in other attempts.
10 shots about filled the frame. Loved using the interval control. Set up the camera and went back inside.

Thank you for sharing the stacking method you used. It definitely has possibilities for future shoots and I will check it out. Thanks again.

Steve Perry has a Youtube video for this program which describes stacking a star shot centered on the north star and the photoshop adjustments for the foreground. Makes it easy.
