This is my first ever camera, I think I was about 9 years old. I don't know what happened to it.
My first was an ARGUS C3, at about age 10.

My first was also an Argus C3, back in the 1960's. Used it for some high school yearbook shots. Great canera for learning photography.
My first was a cheap, plastic knock-off of the C3. It was being sold at our local grocery store as
a kit with flash attachment & a 6 pack of flash bulbs (Press 25 for those as old as I am :) ).
This was mid 1950s, I think I was probably 14-15 years old.
Kodak Brownie Holiday (127 roll film), which I got by redeeming x books of S&H Green Stamps in 1961 if I'm remembering correctly. I clearly remembered the film type, and that it was a Kodak, one of the brown Bakelite ones. I was pretty sure it was more square than rectangular, and when I saw (on E-Bay) photos of the Holiday Brownie alongside the Brownie and Baby Brownie, the time came back clearer; I started to remember scenes of actual picture-taking with it, and I concluded that it was the Holiday Brownie that was my very first camera ever.
