I was at Stonehenge on the Columbia Gorge over the weekend. Sunrise, no one else around. It is a tough place to shoot, so many things in the way. Do leave a comment or post yours if you have been there.
where is this Stonehenge? Looks rather newer than the original.
This is a memorial to the local area (Maryhill, WA) servicemen who were lost is WW I. The day we stopped by was very warm and the light was harsh - not the best for photographing this site. I like your early morning pictures with the softer light and I bet you didn't have any tourists wandering in front of you at that time of day.
My brother just got back from their. They put on concerts and things like that there don't they? Its about 2 hours south of here.

I usually have it to myself that time of day. It is hard to find the "photo" there is so much stuff in the way of any clear shot.
Did you get a shot from the vantage point of the heel stone at sunrise?

The place where they put on the outdoor concerts is the Maryhill Winery which is a short distance east of this memorial.
