Exceptional shots, Bret!

I shoot with a Canon and I like my 100mm macro lens so much that it is my "walk around with' lens.

I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine.

Bob

Okay, I'm confused. What is the difference between a Micro lens and a Macro lens please? Super photos!

Thank you Jackie. They are one in the same. I think Nikon came up with that name.....micro....years ago...but I'm not really sure.

Thanks, Bret, for that information. There are so many lenses and I don't know which I really need. I have 3 lenses: 18-135 3.5-5.6; an 18-55 3.5-5.6; and 55-300 4.5-5.6 and all are Nikon. I have a Nikon D5100. What does the 3.5-5.6 mean? Yours is 2.8. Why are they all different. I would appreciate any information. With the 55-300, I tend to get blurry photos when zooming.

Thank you dreams. I also shoot with the D5100....very nice machine. As for those numbers..F2.8...F3.5....and so on refers to the lens largest aperture setting. Without VR on those zoom lens....you mite try a mono pod...see if that helps with some of that blur.
