Your capture is quite good, do not fret it. The camera has already cropped out the sounds, the scents and one of the optical dimensions of the scene as you experienced it. It is almost impossible to fully capture the mystical blends of nature. Frustrating but we keep trying. So keep on shooting.

What a lovely scene. And you have presented it IN REALITY! It's great, I think. It is a tad out of balance, simply because of the darker side appearing to be a bit "heavier" than the other side. Honestly, there's enough going on in the right side to provide balance. But, as Keni suggested, a GND applied in LR might solve some of that for you. It works nicely, I think, but it takes a light hand. If you have LR, try it and see if that helps.
