Good morning my hedgehog friends. I'm in the market for a gimbal for my tripod and haven't a clue on which ones to consider. I want something that's going to give good service for a long time. I'm very good about taking exceptional care of my equipment and I look for quality. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much. I just went to the webpage to order the gimbal but there was an issue with the page for some reason. I will call when they open to order directly from the store. Is that the carbon fiber gimbal that you guys are speaking of? I think the price is $298.00 plus shipping.

You're very welcome. You'll enjoy using it, it's a great head.

I will second, third and fourth that.
I have used one for years. On a Nest tripod I got used and it was and is better than any new tripod I ever bought.
The ones on Amazon and E-Bay are not the same head - the US version is only sold by MT Shooter - he is the distributor. Slightly different design and different parts. If you live or spend time in a very cold climate he even has an Arctic version.

PMG makes excellent gimbals and are of high quality (like the Katana). They do last you a lifetime! RRS is another good one!

This gimbal from the Nest is carbon fiber so it's really lightweight and very strong.
