I think the giraffe is a beautiful and graceful animal to watch. But because of their sheer size, you miss the face. I like it. Here are a couple in Zimbabwe. The first picture is a female. The other shots are a male. All shots were taken with a Canon 70D and Tamrom 14-400mm.

I think shooting them is sort of hard. Their heads are always against the sky, so metering is hard. I really like your first one where your perspective is higher. I got good ones at Wild Animal Park from their Safari Wagon.
I think your first picture is a male and the rest are female. The male's horns (or ossicones) are bald on top, while the females are covered with hair at the top. This is because the males fight for dominance and the hair on top is torn off. Ken
Love the third one. You lookin' at me?
Great shots, especially the 2nd one
Nice set, the 2nd one looks like it has the mumps.
Nice. The first one looks like a reticulated giraffe.
I read an article just last week warning about the likelihood of them going extinct in the wild.
There are only about 97,000 left in the wild, and the numbers have dropped dramatically
in the past 30 years.
