Not long. They flew in together about 10 minutes before I could take a picture of them. By that time, they had finished eating the fish. Unless they were mates, the Bald Eagles don't like to share their food.

This sure speaks well of the Canon 2X extender. Impressive. Then again you are using a 5Dsr.
