Wasting Time In the Library waiting for the rain to stop, saw this bible laying there, slipped my glasses on the book and took this quick. I liked the soft back lighting.

very very very cool love the shadow of the frames on the Bible. I really like this, and think it is one of your best work posted. t-gal is gonna have to work hard to match.

Thank you Ken, coming from you that is an great honor. I was going to try reproduce it in the studio on a real old Bible . Never got around to it as my Canon Rebel XT did a hari Kari on me and now its all film for a bit, but may try it with the Sinar, Theresa just went to bed so She has not seen the post or the original you can bet however that She will see it in the morning and I shall gloat a little or maybe even a lot.

That's because I have a bent nose. Actually, they are $6 flea Market glasses because I stick them in my trouser pockets and end up sitting on them.

I guess if you can afford Titanium frames they are great. I lost three expensive pairs, one in a fire and two only the people who found the know. I am blind in one eye and prescription glasses are not half price. Anyway if I lose these its no big deal but am sure using cheapy glasses is bad for you but I use only for reading so....

The twisted nose lug has meaning. Even if it was unintended.
Looks like most of my Walmart reading glasses nose lugs.

Thanks a lot, I put a spindly tripod up and set manual @ 1.5 secs at f22
Will try to do a re shoot but want to find a real old bible, the big version and a pair of old mans specs!
