A Very Tacky Christmas Display?

Luckily I had an old Nikon p&s in my glove box when I came across this rendition of a Christmas display. Never have I seen anything quite like it. It was a large display so I broke it down into a few views. I just thought I should share this with my fellow hogs.

Well to each their own...a little much for my liking but a lot of respect for the time and money utilized to set up such a display....

Looks like something that Robert Maplethorp might have created if the sheriff hadn't run him out of town. Jerry Springer would be proud to live there. Actually, this display has been making it's show annually since 1970. Do a google search of "Bill Zapf" and read the very informative articles. It is a great father-to-son story.

Couple of bright spots.. 1st: at least all this plastic junk isn't in our landfills.. 2nd: be thankful it not those inflatable displays.
