Has anybody used wevideo for editing?

I found a program called wevideo that appears to allow me to edit video with a laptop with only 6 gb of RAM and a crappy AMD processor.

It is a web based program. I tried editing some sample video and it worked great. I’m thinking of adding video to my list of services.

I searched with wevideo in the archives and came up with nothing.

Any thoughts?

I have not used it. But I was intrigued by your post so I did a similar search and I noticed that WeVideo is a U-tube partner:

"Shortly after its 2011 launch, WeVideo was invited by YouTube to become a YouTube Create partner.[8][9] The embedded WeVideo editor is one of a number of solutions offered by YouTube to help users create better video compositions."

My thoughts are if it works then go ahead and use it.

I use it all the time and love it. I actually teach my college students how to use it too. A couple things to keep in mind if you only want to use the free version- it does put a watermark on your finished videos, and you are limited to 5 minutes of publish time per month.

I couldn’t find the free version so I paid $10.

This is really cool
