Epson V700 scanner problem

The scanner has been working fine but now scans very fast and results are bad. Any Suggestions?

Recheck the settings. Might be as simple as a check box that might be overlooked.

Not totally certain now, but a long time ago I ran into that problem; when checking all the settings, the scanning resolution was set to something like 150 instead of 1500.
Corrected that and all was fine.
