I am a student of the Art of Photography. I have been leaning my whole life. I am an amateur and thus I have not learned as fast as if I was a professional. Im am 64 years of age and Photography is still a great creative passion for me. Increasingly so. I am grateful for that. I will continue to learn.

Nice to hear. Perfect time also. Near or in retirement allows you to photograph without a job getting in the way.

Me I’m just a youngster 62. Back in the early 80’s I dabbled in some wedding and family photography on the side while active duty USN. Way back on shore duty. Now I just play and continue to learn. There is a lot to learn about the D810 and Lightroom. Welcome to the forum.

I am 66 and have a BFA from the Kanas City Art Institute. After. 3 decade hiatus from photography I am loving having a camera back in my hand. Although I transitioned from analog to digital a camera is a camera. Photography has always been about seeing. Enjoy the journey.
