try google = lightroom videos

Don't pay for any results. period. Check the various authors and keep the names of those you like. Let u-tube suggest other titles and continue that method until they give you one that's no good and then go back to your results list. Check the Adobe site too where they're free. Many people, me included, like Anthony Morganti.

Start a electronic list and keep notes of the topic and the URL link so you can refer back to the video / topic / author for future reference.

Julieanne Kost at jkost.com — She is a master trainer and software evangelist for Adobe, and has been training people to use Lightroom since version 1.0.

She is a crack photographer and graphic artist, too.

I took several of her live seminars years ago, and had the pleasure of introducing her when she spoke at the Digital Imaging Marketing Association conference at PMAI 2008.

There is a lot of free stuff out there but these videos are well organized with printable outlines. You get what you pay for. The Lightroom System $149 and because you get outlines the videos become an easily accessable reference tool.

Second the motion on Anthony Morganti and Julieanne Kost. Serge Ramelli has some videos, if you don't mind the over-the-top approach.

Scott Kelby's Lightroom Killer Tips is also a wealth of information.

There are many good videos to overcome the Lightroom learning curve--Laura Shoe made the difference for me.
One can watch select videos over and over until it clicks.

Excellent advice. Find a presenter whose style you like, and unless their advice is total trash, you will learn a lot. Don't judge by popularity, but by the style that's comfortable to you. I like Morganti and Tim Grey for Lightroom. Tim Grey can be found on the BH educational website.

What I find most useful is to watch a video while simultaneously having a copy of Lightroom open and working on an image. Going back and forth between the two helps me remember techniques or general advice on the starting points for various sliders and controls.

I actually find it a lot of fun to watch and practice.
