Free Luminar 3 upgrade

Today is the first day of the free upgrade for Luminar 2018 owners. I got mine. It is creating my gallery now.I can't wait to put it through it's paces.

As far as I can tell so far it that the basic editing engine is about the same, but the library is all new. The only drawback is that for the time being anyway, Luminar 3 won't import LightRoom libraries. The developers say that this is something they are considering for a later update.

I just downloaded it and it's creating the library as we speak. I watched 2 long youtube videos on this and they show it creating the library in seconds. I downloaded and installed it 45 minutes ago and it's 5% done. I hope it's done by the time I get back from flying my drone.

Wow! Sounds like a hardware issue. Mine was over in minutes. Hopefully it all works out for you.

It took 5 hours to finish. I rebooted and then tried it out. Took a while for the thumbnails to show. Then I tried to develop an image. The program crashed. Gave it the 3 finger salute and ended the program then rebooted the computer. Tried it again and the splash screen hung up. Tried rebooting several more times and tried to start the program as many times and finally uninstalled it. Not worth messing with when I've been using Adobe products without a hitch on this computer for a couple of years now.
