So A photographer was taking engagement photos of my daughter and her fiancé on her fancy camera and my daughter asked her to take one with her iPhone which she sent to me. It is the first one and I received it while driving from New Jersey to New York (in the passenger seat) and she asked me to “work on it“. I grant you I blew it on the left side where the garbage can was but for a teeny iPhone and my big fat thumbs and a bumpy car ride it is amazing what this little phone can do.

I like the second better also, same reason as NMGal.
If I didn't look for where the trashcan was (since you mentioned it), I wouldn't have really noticed as I was more interested in the people portrait and the background.

I agree, for the size sensor these things have, download viewed on my iPad Air, the color and detail is amazing.

Your photo caught my attention. As you proved, great photos can be had with an IPhone.
Oddly, I preferred the first photo because of the fine DOF. Yes, the trash and the pavement markings would have to go.

And congratulations too! My daughter will be getting engaged soon as well. Happy times! Will probably be asked to do her picture with her Iphone and my gear...not so much. LOL!

I like #2 because the handsome/beautiful couple isn't overwhelmed by the sky while the location is still clear from the background. The couple is clearly the subject. jak
