Well since all the changes in the gun laws here in the UK a lot more people are using knives now

That is interesting, I am into knives also . I buy about 50 kitchen knives every month for $3.00 ach they are always dull
It is almost impossible to cut yourself with one , I resharpen them and resell them for $10 to $12each . They are sharper than
New when I'm finished , the only thing I can figure out is most people don't have the smarts or the equipment to sharpen themselves
Most are like new but for the dull blades . I have a lot that I know cost $36 or more new and I have no problem getting $20

Somehow, the US Fake News liberal press does not report that in the absence of guns, knives are used. So, in America, if we outlawed guns, it is safe to assume that the criminals would just use knives. But, it is not safe to assume that crime would magically disappear!

This is a little off subject but read the other day that UK is having rash of stabbings. This has always been
happening because it is hard to get a handgun. This piece of art is perplexing. Why?

Ever hear of "Never bring a knife to a gun fight"? I would guess that disputes and insults grow in to murderous rages at nearly the same percentage in the in the UK as in the US. But with its proud defense of the 2nd amendment, Americans have ready access to a very effective way to express that anger. Not only is the bullet deadlier than the blade, it can reach out much further than arm's length. Guns and knives really cannot be compared with each other.

One should also remember that England's strict gun laws came after serveral gun massacres, including the Dunblane Massacre in 1996 that killed 16 children and one adult. Today the UK has one twenty-fifth the gun deaths as the United States. Do you believe that it is our constitutional right to own a deadly firearms in the United States? If so, don't ignore or minimize the fact that this freedom comes with a price.

When you quote facts, you should also use "per capita" in the evaluation. The point I was making is that eliminating guns will not eliminate crime, just changes the type of crime.
