Those are really really nice. Lovely.
I like shooting orchids too, same sort of types of shots. Once I move to our other larger home in a cooler location (I'm in hot dry Southern California right now. Own another home near the Beach further North), I think I might buy some orchids to bring home and photograph for stores. But right now I'll go to various Botanical Gardens to photograph all sorts of plants. My Favorite locations are
L.A. Co. Arboretum, Arcadia, CA
H.E. Huntington Library, Art Galleries, and Botanical Gardens, San Marino, CA
Sherman Library and Botanical Garden, Corona Del Mar, CA
Yes, I know you are in the UK, but others in my area may want to know. Thanks for the post and photos.

I have never had much luck with orchids (they die on me) , but I do love them. I especially like #2.

Is there possibly a macro photographer who didn't like orchids!? I have a horde of orchid pics and I still can't pass one up. It's addictive---almost as bad as my GAS !
