Absolutely nothing can prepare you for the beauty and splendor of the Grand Canyon until you step out onto the rim. This photo is a very feeble attempt at its true beauty. Photo taken in the first week of Nov. 2018.
Nice photo...
Reminds me of a trip a few of my friends and myself did several years back. I was shooting a Canon A-1 at the time.
We were on motorcycles and arrived at the south rim in the late morning. Someone in the group said, I wonder how long it will take to get to the other side. We got back on our bikes and off we went. I don't recall exactly how long it took to get there but we didn't have a whole lot of usable daylight left.
One of there days I'm going to digitize those negatives.
Again, nice photo.
Really beautiful shot. I've visited the Canyon 5 times (and would go again at the slightest excuse) but always in the summer months. The lighting in Fall and Winter is dramatically different, and shows everything in a different and more beautiful light.
Well done!
Nice shot, I like the framing with the trees
Fran
I would say you captured the beauty and awe of that spot.
The Lady never fails to awe and inspire.
Great shot. I would agree that it is difficult to capture the grandeur of the
grand Canyon. After many trips I am still trying for the "quintessential" photo.
