Here is the fourth of five sets from our 492 mile 14 hour drive to the Eastern Sierras on October 13 to look at fall colors. These photos were taken on the June Lake Loop off of U.S. 395, at Silver Lake. I hope you enjoy them. All were taken with my Canon 80D and EF-S 18-135 lens. The photos in this series are the first photos I've post-processed, and I used Lightroom.

Beautiful pictures. I especially like the shadows and highlights in #3. I assume you used Lightroom to adjust shadows and highlights. You did great...not overdone. Keep shooting and sharing!

Thank you for your comments; I'm glad you liked them. I used Lightroom, and this is the first set of photos I've processed. I started shooting RAW+JPEG in March, but didn't find the time to try Lightroom until recently. I'm getting ready to post two more photos from the same area.

Thank you. Makes you want to go for a stroll along the lake, and we would have done so, but we had about 4 hours of driving left and wanted to stop in Yosemite on the way (which will be the next set).

Great. I'll watch for them. I like using Lightroom for the broad strokes of post processing. It is all I use on probably 85% of my photos. There are lots of really useful video tutorials accessible from the application but also available on YouTube. Good luck and keep shooting.

I just watched the first few videos from Adobe via the help in Lightroom and then played around with it; thanks for the tip.

The next set (Part 5) is now posted.

Absolutely beautiful landscape shots. The fall colors really pop and the compositions are first rate.

Thank you for the kind comments. There were actually a couple of other people about 50 feet away taking photos.
