I know that in some countries, many home gardeners grow Lantana, just like any other flower, but in most states of Australia, it is classified as a noxious weed & is eradicated where possible. Luckily (for photographers), there is plenty of it growing wild around here. Downloading is recommended.

Nicely done, Earl. My sister-in-law grows it in her garden and I photograph it every year.

Excellent shots, Earl. I don't know why anyone would want them eradicated. They are a very attractive plant and butterflies seem to enjoy them.

Have always heard that every flower is a weed somewhere. This is such a lovely one. Enjoyed.

Well, if they want to call it a weed, it certainly is a beautiful weed! And what a shame they want to destroy it! I loved the double downloads as well as the downloads, Earl. Good shots!

I have a lot of the wild ones in my yard and the butterflies like them and that is enough of a reason for me. Great shots Earl.
