Key West, without the obligatory 'gators, crocs or street crowds...Part 4

We spent our Thanksgiving in Key West, fleeing from 8" of snow
in PA, with our best friends. I was fortunate enough to capture
over 700 images of things to which I felt "drawn."

Hope you enjoy.

Great series. I think you caught the essence of Key West. I really like the sunrise through the trees. The shot of the Great White Heron. The Great White Heron is either a white phase Great Blue Heron, or a white sub-species of the Great Blue Heron, or a separate species entirely. It is endemic to south Florida from Key West north through Florida Bay. Whatever it is, the argument has been going on since the late 50s, it is a magnificent bird and your shot make that clear.

First off, thank you so much, Curmudgeon for taking the time to
view my images, and for leaving such a nice comment.

And I also want to thank you for the information on the Heron. I'm not
a "birder" by any stretch of the imagination, but I do so love capturing
different species at their finest.

Thanks again!
