Find me the part where I was agreeing with anyone, I do not recall a thumbs up anywhere.

You chimed in amongst their posts saying almost exactly the same thing they were.

I responded to Twardlow and had a conversation with him. Now let me try to find where I chimed in, couldn't find it. I was commenting on his reliance on opinion as fact.

I have no idea what you’re tying to say, but it it’s true, your opinion is stronger than you say.

You main limitation is incomplete knowledge, but still you have a right to your opinion, subject to change as you learn more.

I always list opinion as such, though opinion based upon observatable fact is certainly stronger.

I feel the same about you Tom. My opinion is based on my life experiences and education, just as yours are. While we may disagree on some things it seems we agree on being civil.

Cheers

What I was saying Tom is that only a blind man would have to guess if it was raining, then it would be an opinion.

Opinion is filled with might and maybe, to rest your reputation on others opinion is faulty, and futile. Realize that it is leftist opinion and nothing more, you do not see me or many others posting opinions from wingers, my opinion is mine and not guided by confirmation bias.

The lib fascist socialist dems live off of "Might", "Maybe", "possibly", and various forms of that and read their silly opinion pieces written by some liberal buffoon and they actually call that the TRUTH.

Sorry, I disagree: The Catholic Church preached for centuries that the earth was the center of the universe, only to find that their fact was merely opinion, and wrong at that.

Some who speculated, opined that the sun was the center of the universe, only to find that their opinion was fact.

The duty of any thinking person (even some on this site) is to decide as best he can exactly what reality is. It is something of a trial and error business, but a thinking person must have opinions, judgements, a theory or a thesis, an understanding of what the world is about and why.

Of course we are often wrong, misguided, or slightly off-key, but try we must.

You simple can’t withhold thought until your knowledge is perfect.

Seems to me you confuse these:

Opinion:

A belief that a person has formed about a topic or issue.
The judgment or sentiment which the mind forms of persons or things; estimation.

Fact:

a thing that is indisputably the case.

Guess:

estimate or suppose (something) without sufficient information to be sure of being correct.

Isn't this all something anybody over 8 years old already knows?
