Northern Crow from Florida

Another trip to central Florida - managed to get my first image of this elusive Northern Crow with an acorn ! These are considered to be one of the smartest birds on the planet and therefore quite elusive - this one did not hang around long for a second shot ! Another box check on my bucket list.
Canon 80D and Canon 400 prime W/1.4X from carpod in bright (brilliant/high contrast) light from a decent sized cropping.

Very nice job on a pretty difficult subject. Feather detail is excellent.

Excellent result, Larry--it's always hard to get good detail on a black bird (or a white one).

Nice crisp shot...well lit. What distinguishes the Northern Crow from the much more common American Crow?
