Among Us. I was attending my monthly long range shooting match when I spotted this mushroom (?) growing at the bottom of a large oak next to one of the firing lines. I have never seen anything like this mushroom in the past. It was very leathery and was about 5" in diameter. The day was very overcast so I popped the 2nd photo with my flash basically to get a reference. There are so many species of mushroom and I thought this was a very interesting variety. Ohhh pretty fungus among us though...I do love those on my plate just wish they looked like these lol! Great capture too!
