Really? I didn't know there is a computer around now that reads floppies.

I wonder how many on here have ever seen a 5 1/4 floppy or let alone an 8" floppy?
Aahhh, royden. Always the poser. I remember when you only had one floppy!!!!!!!!
I have a 1T drive that catches all the RAW images coming off the cameras. I sort that in Lightroom Classic CC assigning keywords and metadata. I then move the keepers to a 3T drive that is backed up onto my Adobe Cloud on a daily basis. To save space and money, I audit the Cloud a few times a year and move the items that are not good sellers to a physical archive drive. Generally I the archive takes ups bout a T a year...
3, 6 TB, local backup, then out to a cloud bases storage company..
Double or single density?

2 32 gb micro drives
1 128 gb flash drive
3 computer hard drives
My files are scattered, unorganized, the originals are duplicated, and I estimate about 20 gb of photos.

Was that one of the questions from Monty Python and the Holy Grail?

3 TB drive, 50% full. Contains all of my photos which are backed up on three drives of equal size.
Oh gee I have so many 3tb 2tb 1tb and the latest is a 5tb and that don't count the ones that quit on me. I do not buy any tb drive unless it says Toshiba on it. Seagate has failed me as has one other brand and when I opened it up the drive inside the plastic box it said Seagate on it.

Does the hardware and software for these floppies still exist? Also, what is the capacity of a 5 inch floppy?

Depends on the density 5 1/4 DD I think were 360K while 5 1/4 HD were 1.2MB (or 1.4?) I think there were also double-sided disks that use a specialty drive, but I had no direct experience with them.
1 TB. Got along well with 500GB before.

I added an 8" floppy drive to my S-100 bus computer. The floppy drive cost $1300.
