An Australian tourist decides to visit an American brothel while here on vacation. Once in the room the girl took off her top. The Aussie quickly grabbed the chair and threw it out the window. Next she took off her bottoms. He then grabbed the table and threw it out the window. She looked at him puzzled and asked what he was doing. He said they're going to need all they room they can get if she's anything like the kangaroos at home.

If its told using the same words and context, it is funny. The way I heard it told, it was funny.

Leaving parts out, or expecting everyone to know exactly what you are referring to often times ending up with a joke that is not funny or leaves people scratching their heads wondering what you are talking about and what the punchline is/was.
