Sadly this beautiful historic bridge is one of the many casualties of the Camp fire here in California. So far 23 have lost their lives and more than 100 are unaccounted for. This bridge was 132 years old, the photo's do not do it justice (they were taken with an old pocket camera) I am just glad I have them. My thoughts go out to all those who have been directly affected by this devastating fire.

The Camp Fires in the north and the Woolsey fires in the South have done much destruction. The 30,000 population of the city of Paradise is 80% destroyed. Lady GA GA and Kim Kardashian have had to evacuate their homes. They will be able to recover quickly, if their homes burned down. However, the everyday working person will not recover so quickly. Many who lost homes by fires in California this past summer, have been told, that when they rebuild their homes, they will no longer be offered insurance anymore by the company. Fires come back years later in the same paths. Rain, California needs it badly.
