Mostly I like it. What I'm not so sure of - either the focus seems a little soft and or maybe a little increase in the contrast would help to pull the subject out a little more. Maybe a little tighter crop - don't know, might be worth a try. Nice capture.

Thanks. I pay close attention to all your comments. I agree; that isn't the sharpest picture and I can't seem to fix it, but I wanted to add it to the critters. Stay tuned for my osprey shot!
I think notnos advice about tryin' to increase the contrast might help this pic ..nice capture of a great moment
Beautiful bokeh! Beautiful photo!
I also like it, except that it seems a little flat. Here is a Photoshop Levels adjustment to add a little contrast
The Photoshop sharpening helps. Still a super shot

Thank you very much. The picture looks much better. I have a DVD on photoshop elements that I am starting to watch so I can better edit my photos (I'm only using ZoomBrowser EX right now-it came with my Canon 7D and is easy to use). Of course, if I took the photo right in the first place, it would be a lot better, right? Nat
I also have Zoombrowzer EX that came with my Canon SX20IS. This is what I came up with when I tinkered with it. Hope this posts. BTW, my dream is getting a good shot of a mama with young,& a bif. Good shot! Laura
