Hi everyone -things here are still upside down so I'll start the post for tomorrow now while I can...
What is it?
Dynamic tension is a way of using the energy and movement available in various features of the frame to draw the eye out of the picture, in contrasting
directions.
A variety of different lines make a photo more interesting, but dynamic tension takes these lines and adds varying degrees of contrast between them,
further increasing their interest.
The simplest and most obvious photo that I have to demonstrate dynamic tension is the one below, the lines move out from the center of the photo to
the edges.
The above explanation comes from expert photography.com/dymanic-tension-photos-more-dramatici/
Here's an example below that I took at Castle Craig last week...I'll add more as we go...Hope you all enjoy this Challenge and find it painlessly
enlightening!

I've read and re-read your description on dynamic tension, and understand the basic concept is that
the line lead you to the edges of the image, but couldn't an argument (I prefer "discussion") be made
that those same lines lead into your original object?
I know, I've been accused of being "anal" ...LOL

No problem..I was trying to lead people to an expanded description, but it is against Ugh rules to put an automatic Link to an outside URL.
So, I just put the major subject and source in the introduction, so everyone could read further...
