Foul! Your title did not included animals! You should report yourself to a punitentiary right away.

All kidding aside, it is great to see fall colors with this much water running. Makes me wish I could have made it back east to the Smokeys for the fall leaves. Great shots including the last "waterfall".

Did you make it to Conestee Falls just outside of Brevard? There is another waterfall right there also. I had thought they were both called Conestee but the second one has another name. It is located on Hwy 276 and that is a fantastic road especially on a motorcycle. North is Pisgah forest, south is Dupont state park and Caesar's Head state park. Great area!!!

Great series. I especially like #1 where the lighting is more even and the turbulence of the water peeks out here and there from between the rocks.

Great images. Wish you could have included the smells, sounds and feel of the cool mountain air. My summer home is in Maggie Valley....it is a truly amazing place.

We went to Looking Glass, Dry Falls, Bridal Veil and Mouse Creek Falls. We had just a few days and so we made the most of them. took sunset, saw the elk at Cataloochee. #1 is on the way to Big Creek and a hike up to Mouse Creek Falls. The most beautiful area we have seen.
