Creating a convertable dark room

I'm throwing this out as a recommendation to those folks who would like to process their own film but feel they don't have a suitable space and don't want to use a bag or want to do film enlarging and don't see how getting enough light blocked out of a room in their residence is possible. This URL is for a heavy black cloth that goes by the trade name of commando cloth and is used in the film industry to block unwanted light contamination.

I use it to light proof a bath in my home to make a dark room when I need it. It works great for its intended purpose.

I thought no one was making prints in the dark any longer. My dark room has been in boxes for many years now. I would not mind selling some of it off since it is not used by me.

Thanks for the info but I never used a dark material over my darkroom door. I had success using the right weather stripping and a good weather seal for a door bottom. In the end I was scanning the prints to send to the printers of election materials of local politicians. The printers were by then just wanting the scans to make their B&W mailers from and not the prints.

I use it over the windows and door jams in my bathroom. Wonderful stuff.
