I have the Rx10 IV and have no low light issues. (Within reason of course)

The more I know about the RX10 IV, the better I like it. I think I've shot twice with my Canon 5D MIII & 7D MII since I purchased the Sony in July. I certainly don't miss lugging the 40 lbs. of stuff.

Great images. Beautiful place. Thanks for the specs.
I have been on the forums talking about these cameras many times.

I shoot my grandkids soccer. Flat fields sometimes 300-400mm.
Have shot a seminar in a college theater never left my seat in the audience.
Like the images. The video is super. Ken Rockwell had a long review where
he said he picked up this camera and used it for months. It got my interest.

I am now struggling with shooting a doc/promo videos for a high end ballet school.
I have been shooting with an XDCam. And small amount with Sony a7s II.
I thought yesterday why not shoot with the RX10 for everything. Dance studios
have natural light and some overhead but I am always pushing gain to just
below noise.

Thanks, Tom!
I've not given upon my two DSLR's, but the Sony is fantastic.

Amazing DR! Very skilled photographer. That did not happen by accident. I have the RX10 IV also but I’m not as good with it (yet?).

Thank you. I've been working on it and also reading the two books, by White and Friedman. Mainly, I shoot the same as I do for my two DSLR's. I shoot RAW & mostly manual Unless you already have one or both of the books, I highly recommend them.

I sold all my Canon equipment that I have used for decades in favor of the Sony RX10 IV. As a backup, I got a used Sony RX10 III from Roberts Camera in Indiana, also a fantastic camera. I shoot a lot of stage plays where you can't use flash.
