Hi, just getting started with Photoshop...can't find a way to decrease the sensitivity of my index finger/mouse zoom in out function. Just the slightest movement of my finger results in extreme zoom in zoom out speed, literally reducing the viewed image to a pin point or up to the pixel level . Please can someone guide me how to adjust this? (changing tracking speed in Mac OS preferences had no effect).
That is a function of your OS. I see you tried to change it . Perhaps you need to check and see if there is an update on your mouse software. Sorry I cant be more helpful. good luck.

Thanks...but not so sure it is the OS as it works perfectly with Lightroom.
That seem strange. I use both LR and PS and the mouse is the same sensitivity for both. What version of PS are you using? Perhaps you need to reload it?

Yes, thanks for trying to help. The issue continues...it is amazing how quickly I can zoom from full screen pixel to pin point image! I almost am tempted to try an off brand mouse without touch scrolling and get an old rotating scroll wheel.
