I would have taken that shot, too.
Good one.

Now that's my idea of a GREAT street scene.

Thanks, shuck. I appreciate it.
Great shot! He certainly appears to be alone, both physically and mentally (in his thoughts) amidst all the hustle and bustle around him.

Classic! I would have tightened up a little on the guy in the lower-right corner. He's the star of this shot. You realize that sooner or later you will have to put a book together, don't you?
Good one! I think I would crop just a shade off the left to exclude the partial head. Doing that
seems to allow my attention to dwell on the seated figure better.
I believe he is--he looks kinda sad, too. I’m sure it’s due to other circumstances, but it looks as if the crowd is avoiding him, giving him lots of space.
Nice capture.

Thanks, AZNikon. Tightening up would help emphasize him, but would cut the size of the crowd--a tradeoff. I appreciate the thought on doing a book, but those things tend to be expensive.

Thanks, fergmark. Yes, that would work.

Thanks, jaymatt. Yes, there has to be more on his mind than just being alone there.
So many things going on here. I really like this one Voss. Do people ever give you a hard time about taking their photographs?

Thanks, SpyderJan. I occasionally get a sour or angry look, but for each one of those, I get a couple of smiles, so it balances out. I've only been asked/ordered once to delete a photo, but it turned out that while I had pointed my camera at her, I hadn't actually released the shutter. Oops.
(Had I actually taken it, though, I would have deleted it as she was rather angry.)
