On a personal level, I pray the therapy is going well and you have a speedy, and complete recovery! May your family comforted during this time of trial. I know a little about how it can affect you and your family, as I am the caretaker of my 93 year old dad, who had a mild stroke last year.

I am so sorry not to have posted anything earlier, but somehow I missed this thread. I just knew I hadn't seen anything from Mike in awhile and was concerned. I am sorry to learn about Mike's stroke, but there are prayers going his way for a speedy and complete recovery. Thank you Renate for keeping us posted and again, I'm sorry not to have seen it earllier on. I've really appreciated Mike's photos of California and Alaska. He has such a special way of capturing the landscape in both places.

I think about Mike just about every day, Renate and so much hope that he is much better and really miss corresponding with him and viewing his lovely images. I believe that I sent a personal message quite a while back, but don't know if it was received by you! Please tell Mike that we are all pulling for him and hope that he will be back with us soon!
