Oregon Photo Tour

I am a born and raised Oregonian. I have considered moving to other parts of the country. There are truly some great places to live here in the US. But the state and family have kept me here. Not complaining, it is a good thing. This past weekend my wife and I grabbed our cameras and we visited some of our favorite places. The first picture was taken from the Washington State side if the Columbia River. Just west of The Bridge Of The Gods. The second picture is on the Willamette River just south of the Oregon City Falls. It was my wife's birthday. I surprised her and rented a houseboat for the weekend. This was our view from the deck. She caught two trout just before I took this picture. The following pictures are from a area called Silver Falls. Due to the dry summer the waterfalls water flow was less than usual. But we still had a great time exploring.

Thanks you. I mentioned that there are a lot of great places in the US to live. Where you live is one of them. Was there a couple years ago. Still talk about that vacation. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Oregon is such a beautiful state with lots of variety. These are really nice images.

Thanks for the photos fellow Oregonian. Don't forget to visit Painted Hills, Smith Rock, Old McKinsey Hwy. and last but not least....Crater Lake. Then through in the whole Oregon Coast as frosting on the cake.
