I have used Photoshop for years & never had any issues with updates until yesterday.I updated Photoshop but when I did, it updated it as a 7 day trial & I still had the older version so I contacted customer service & they got rid of my older version & now I have the 2019 version which is great but I am unable to open Canon Studio Pro in Photoshop.I contacted Canon but it says it may take a few days to get back to me.I read on line that others have had this problem.Do any of you have a solution for me? Thanks so much!

Do you mean "Print Studio Pro"?
After my updates I find I now have two versions of PS showing in my CC window. I get to Print Studio Pro just fine from LR which is now the new 9.0 version. My workflow is import to LR, go to PS if needed (and other apps/add ons), save back to LR and do my printing from LR to PSP and that link is working just fine in 9.0. When I go to PS from the new LR it goes to CC 2019 (20.0) and PSP is no longer on the list of add-ons but if I go to the Adobe CC app and open CC 2018 (19.1.6) it is there and PSP opens just fine. So the only problem is with PS 2019 (20.0) just as you are having.

I will watch this to see what ideas/solutions appear.

If you use LR you can do what I do, save the edited image back to LR from PS and then print from LR, assuming your LR is still communicating with PSP.

Hopefully they will put out an update that will correct it soon. A recent update for Malwarebytes caused it to block every out going message from facebook and gray out the menu bar at the top after one use, so I had to keep reloading FB to use the menu bar. That lasted less than a week and today another update cleared it up.

To install PSP, go into Applications->Canon Utilities->Print Studio pro and run the Plug-in Installer.

It will ask about LR (unless you don't have LR).

Select "Next"

Select Photoshop and click "Browse"

Browse to App, find Adobe Photoshop, select the Plug-ins folder and select Open

Select "Next"

It should install.

You can also just copy the PSP plugin from the plugin folder of the old version of PS to the new version of PS.

I should have been more clear. Browse to the Application folder on the Mac. Then select the Photoshop folder.

No. Instead of Applications folder look for Programs folder.

Marilyng,

I noticed in your question you are using Photoshop 2019. I have Photoshop 2018. My question to you is, did you find much of an up grade from What ever photoshop you were using before. I went from 2015 to 2018 and found there were only two new additions . I don't want to go to 2019 if there very little change

Thanks for your info.

Woodie

sorry I didn't answer your question lol
