CNN has a headline reading “Trump suggests Defense Secretary Mattis may depart Pentagon, calls him 'sort of a Democrat'.”

This is the beginning of the attempt to weaponize the U. S. Military.

The Supreme Court is fully weaponized now, and the Republican Party has been fully weaponized for some time.

The FBI is under attack in an attempt to weaponise it, but the attack is only partially successful so far.

Trump can’t weaponise the Free Press, but he has attacked it and denigrated it to a vast degree, and when and if the Press gives in, our Democracy is gone.

It may be gone if the Military capitulates, and the seeds of our Democracy being done are already in action.

We are already the laughing stock of the entire world.

Democracy’s only hope is Mueller, and if he fails we can all move to Venezuela or Moscow or the Philippines.

When and If that day comes, History will write that 43% of the nation led our Nation to an irresponsible disaster, led them gladly and enthusiastically, abandoning our principles, our philosophy, ‘our lives, fortunes, and our sacred honor.’

Incidentally, Trump’s 43% approval (this week) is almost precisely the strength of the Nazi party in March 1933 (43.9%) when Hitler consolidated his power in Germany and led the entire world to a profound disaster. And we watch the nation that produced Beethoven, Bach, Mozar, in a rich Germanic tradition—a tradition that astonishingly betrayed the entire world—we now watch the USA march in the same direction, marching to the same tune, lying the same lies, floundering without qualm or reservation, betraying logic, responsibility, and destiny.

The nation reels, but it might survive—miracles sometimes happen!—but the mindless “Lock Her Up!,” the cover for the loss of rational thought or judgement, and 6,000 lies denying verifiable truth, are now in front, increasing their lead, and leading us all to disaster.

Gullibility, Ignorance, and Denial often win.
